Even if Cotara works 100% of the time, the "market" for it, via Glio, is waaay smaller than the bavi platform and various combinations that will spring from it. The complexity of something universally present provides the possibility of a huge benefit, but also inherently makes it so much harder to nail down into market ready specific pieces. I got into this for the glio work many years ago and was devastated to see them not choose Cotara but understood then and understand now that the bavi platform will likely have a greater good to mankind. I also hold out hope that what they learned to bring Cotara so close to patients (i swear I remember 'cured' people) will one day make sense to someone and have the financial reward that sadly dominates the reason these things work forward. Or someone sees it lying on the shelf and chooses to do something altruistic and really, really good.
