http://patents.stackexchange.com/questions/5595/how-do-i-know-if-a-patent-is-pending-or-granted
I then searched each patent application on this site: https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/search.jsf
I then realized all of OWCP's 'patents' are actually patent applications as they have only filed and paid the application fee but not actually applied for any patents in any country(National-tab on the site). Simple google search reveals there is no such thing as a provisional patent.
"The provisional application establishes a priority date for the contents of the application, but is never examined. Instead, 1 year later you can file a non-provisional application based on the provisional."
I find it misleading to tell investors that the actual patents have 100% been granted.
Something doesn't smell right but I guess it will all shake out soon and we'll all know what's what.
