UCLA’s Steve Alford removes himself from consideration for the Indiana opening
Alford has made three Sweet 16s in four seasons

UCLA coach Steve Alford publicly removed himself from consideration for the Indiana job early Saturday while insisting he won’t even talk to the school about its opening.

“I am 100 percent absolutely not going to Indiana,” Alford told reporters after the Bruins lost to Kentucky in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

His agent subsequently confirmed Alford’s words.
