OT: You've got it backward, Matt. It's not the government that has the fat fingers, it's the private insurance companies.
Why should corporations (and their fat-fingered executives) that don't provide healthcare be making fat profits off of healthcare?
Anyone who thinks Obamacare is unaffordable should price what insurance would cost directly from any of the private insurance companies.
It doesn't matter how it's otherwise spun, the failure of the Republicans to "repeal and replace" Obamacare after shouting about it for seven years is proof of incompetence and bluster by both Ryan and Trump. What a couple of losers.
But the failure of Trump to get Obamacare repealed is nothing compared to the far more serious problems he faces in regards to his ties to Russian oligarchs. The evidence has stopped being circumstantial against members of his administration, if not also Trump himself, and some of them will be facing charges possibly as serious as treason.
The Trump administration is going down, and it's going down hard, but it's going to go down swinging too. We're in for troubled times these coming months and it's not going to be pretty.
I know some of you Trump supporters are thinking oh this stupid snowflake just can't get over Trump's electoral college victory and his being sworn in as POTUS, but it's you who are being the naive ones. If you had any sense, you would participate in the growing effort to get rid of Trump.
He's an ignorant bully, a liar, a lout, and he is incapable of meeting the rigorous standards and demands of being president. Unless he either quits or is impeached, Trump poses a threat to our standing as the preeminent power in the world, and a threat to democracy in the USA. You'll still have Pence, also a fanatical narcissist who would try to make America a Christian caliphate, but hopefully without the murderous impulses of Trump.
It's really important that you guys chose not to abet the destructiveness and threat that is embodied by Trump, but I realize that all this post is probably going to generate is me being called a libtard. Well you guys are mostly just suckers and saps. You're chumps for Trump, and your ideological blinders will keep you from even understanding what I've written.
I've stated my view and won't spend the weekend defending it. Say what you will, but if you defend Trump, or try to change the subject to Obama or Clinton, you'll just be part of the problem, and you will be partially to blame for the shitstorm that's about to hit the USA.
