Short story, Purdue determined that their Hot Melt Extruder technology was better than $ELTP's Fluid Bed Spray Drier technology. and rejected the $ELTP offer.

So glad as an Elite shareholder that Elite did not give its PIP
to those jokers.

Now OxyContin with partnered PuraCap (Epic). Purdue beginning to flail trying to maintain dominance. The FDA does not want one dominant player.
