Generally VFIN is notorious for dilution. Also, on the boards often times people will post that they contacted the TA/Transfer Agent which is the Co responsible for selling shares for the Co and they can confirm the current outstanding shares and you can see if it has gone up or not. That is if anyone on the board has checked and if the Co doesn't have that information "Gagged" which means the TA won't give it out.
