I feel it's more important to see what the insiders hold versus what they sell.

I normally sell for two reasons, I don't like the company anymore or I have too much invested in it.

Gileads Exec's sell an enormous amount of stock, but still hold massive amounts (some in the millions of shares), so that just leads me to believe their stock options are over the top.
