No not FACT. I was one of the unpaid divers. We had a class A team under Webber's direction. Goldberg never met his contract obligations in the joint venture to finance the operations and never paid we the divers. He was issued notice of default on his violation of contract. He stiffed Webber out of about $200,000.00 owed to him. I met him personally, heard his lies, was left un-paid (like the others) and stranded without air fare out of the Dominican Republic.
Because of Goldberg dishonesty and incompetence, the only asset MEI had, the RV Hispaniola fell under litigation and was lost to the court in manipulation with the crooked Dominican lawyer who represented the divers. Also lost was about a quarter of a million + or - dollars in treasure and artifacts seized by the Dominican Government because Goldberg lied and failed to pay the monthly contract service fees he said he was wire transferring out of New York. Before all the final things occurred and Webber's Hispaniola Ventures, LLC contract was about to expire, Goldberg and Scaglione went behind Webber's backhand tried to get it re-issued to MEI (them). The Dominicans wouldn't do it out of respect for Webber.
Good old honest Goldy. Would he lie?
