I agree it would have seemed logical a year ago. However now FnF are less than a year away from being insolvent. Also I am of the belief that Obama wanted to kill FnF and let his TBTF banking buddies take over the market. I mean, you can't reasonably believe the same guy responsible for the NWS and the same guy who hid countless documents from the courts regarding malpractice, is going to end it. The consequences of the NWS were apparent from its inception. They were trying to kill FnF and would then pass it off as "letting the big banks fail HURRAH!". No explanation should be given at this point as to the maliciousness of the Obama administration. They were masters at helping their rich buddies at the expense of other rich people, and passing it off as a triumph for the working man.
