Snap has 26 IPO underwriters, including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, and Credit Suisse. The Professional Shorts know they have little time to cover (and the retail shorts will be decimated if they hesitate to cover). Once the quiet period is over (as early as next week) and the world's largest financial institutions begin to issue SNAP buy ratings, the pps will take off. Depending on the pps at the time, perhaps some of the big guys issue HOLD instead of BUY, but NONE of them will say SELL.
