This is an open letter regarding your recent comments regarding gold and inflation.

That is the most IGNORANT thing I ever read!

Especially from a guy who should know better given Idaho's mining history!

Gold didn't inflate, the DOLLAR did !

It's the same ounce of gold - the dollars to buy it inflated, not the gold.

Gold performed just as it should, as a storehouse of purchasing power.

I'd be surprised if you don't get voted out of office when your constituents find out just how ignorant you really are about the role of the monetary metals.

If I were as ignorant as you on the subject, I'd keep my mouth shut.
