News report on stem cells where 70 year old women were injected with their own stem cells in both eyes causing them to be blind. Taking material out of your own body and putting it back in is NOT regulated by the government. The lab was in a strip mall and all elderly patients. Normal practice for eye doctors is to only work on one eye at a time. This was an isolated incident involving bad doctors NOT a bad report on stem cells.
