Here is their response to looking into RLTR:
1. DVD quality picture - Not unique, and I watched a demo and it was NOT DVD quality. I work at an ISP and have a 30MB internet connection at my desk.. quality was just ok, and i even got an error message that my connection was too slow...
2. Full screen viewing - again, not unique
3. No Downloads - none allow downloads because of legal issues
4. Point, click and watch your show or movie - as opposed to??? again, not unique..
5. pause, rewind, stop - well actually this kind of sucks in comparison. with movielink, i can buffer my movie (same as with reeltime, but if I loose my internet connection with reeltime i loose my movie.) with movielink, I can buffer my movie and watch it on the plane.....
reeltime isn't so special.. nice, but not a 'killer app' that is going to turn the industry on its head. these are things that are already being done..
