Climate Change / Global Warming & Investing Implications

I thought the idea behind global warming was to cut the CO emissions? Nuclear reactors do this. I doubt Solar and Wind will generate enough to cover all the needs. If you worry about every small detail associated with each energy source you might as well have your power disconnected, sell all your vehicles and only eat what you can grow with your own 2 hands. Most spent fuel is stored on site from what I have read... One day it will be practical to eject the waste material off planet... Of course then the Nimbys will have a different set of problems to complain about.
