Wife of Tirex's CEO was arrested for spending money on Cocaine,
according to:
http://patch.com/connecticut/westport/westport-woman-arrested-narcotics-charges-police

(or type in "Deering Rose" on google.)

I don't know if speculation is allowed here,
(moderator can remove this if so, or crop it)
but I know more about these people than most
of you, and I may have part of the answer to
"until2017"'s last question.

I think that at least some of the money that
people wanted invested in tire recycling
went instead to pay for cocaine, because
of the following two statements I heard
while living between Tirex's CEO and his wife:

1. Deering Rose took John Threshie to family court
around the start of 2013. She told me it was because he was
missing his wife support payments,
and now she did not have to remind him because
the state would automatically take it from
his income.

2. She complained to me that a Westport neighbor
(named Hasim), who was husband of her best friend at the
time (named Opala), was not working and so causing his
wife a hard time. So, she said, he should accept
any menial job he can find to help his family
get money and not be picky about the job.
Then Deering said "John (Threshie)
can not do that because he has an excuse:
he has the title of "CEO of Tirex"
nd so can not take other jobs,
but Hasim can."

I have no idea if what she said was correct.
But if so, then John's only allowed source
of income was the money he got from Tirex
investors. And the state ordered him to pay
some of that to Deering. And Deering had
had an expensive addiction to cocaine.
Thus I think that is where some of the
$500,000 invested in Tirex went.
I spent lots of time with John
the 2 years I knew him and I did
not see him spending money in large amounts
any other way (even his room and board was
done cheaply; in a tiny house with his brother).

This is not as fact packed as my other posts,
but now you know some more of what I know
on possible Tirex expenses,
and perhaps how money can windup going other than
where its owners wanted.

Sincerely,
Erik Bergren
