Aeolus Pharmaceuticals AOLS (http://www.aolsrx.com/) is worth a second look? They have a $118 million dollar R&D contract through BARDA. They are undergoing a phase 1 trail with the new formulation of the less expensive AEOL 10150. This trial will only last a month or so. There will then be a multi dose phase 1 in healthy patients. These trials were already done under the old more expensive formulation. After that the company will use the data from this study and it will be included in the Company's pre-Emergency Use Authorization application in Lung-ARS.
