We'll see how this plays out over the course of the year. If GDP and employee wages start ticking higher, then the Fed may be correct. If we continue to see the numbers remain stagnate and underperform expectations, then they're making a mistake by raising too early.
IMO they don't want any big blow-ups to happen before Trump's been in office long enough to own it anyway.
