Ed,

not sure if that was a serious post, a self-inspection moment, a cut at those of us mentioned or just some random thoughts...

nonetheless, if you were speaking honestly, then i respect your integrity...

i have thought about those same things and would reply with some random thoughts of my own....

if we were illegaly manipulating a stock for our gain in order to dump it on the sheep and then short the stock and do it all over again, all the while bragging, i think you would have a point...

but, so far as i can tell we do not gloat over buys and sells, yes, we high-five, when we trade 'em right, but in no way is that boasting or ripping on the market maker that bought our shares and may have sold them to some one else...

all of us have bought at the high - and i've never once been upset at the "neighbor" who sold me those shares lol - which obviously isn't how this works..

or how 'bout the times when i buy at .05, sell at .08 and it runs to $3...along the way there were thousands of buyers and sellers, is the one guy who sold at the top a criminal? if so, should we not have a capitalistic society where one can gain a profit from buying or making something and selling for a profit?

i wake up in the morning - with or without me there's this market out there, naz, nyse, amex, otcbb etc...all day long there are millions of trades - there are a handful a day that will move large, up or down - we try and find those and jump on the train for a moment...

would we be better citizens if we just bought and never sold..oh wait, that wouldn't work cause that would require someone to sell in order for us to buy, plus i don't want to buy msft at $5,000,000,000 since everyone holds and never sells...those selfish bastids...

hopefully you can see my point...

and one man's garbage is another's treasure...

is there something wrong w/ the guy who spends hours and hours looking for that antique he feels is a gem, he buys it from a kid for $50, and turns and sells it for $200k....the kid is stoked and the guy just made a ton...he is not screwing anyone...now if the guy that bought it for $200k holds it and sells it for $150k 10 years later, is there a problem there? i don't think so... this is the market..

finally - i will admit that it would probably be a bit frustrating to see someone buy a stock at .15, and you proceed to chase it to .2 - and that person has just sold his shares at .199 - and 5 minutes later the stock is tanking and we're saying, "die pig die" hoping for a bounce and possibly not thinking that one of us may still own..

but we are adults ed - no one told that person to buy at .2 and stuck a gun to their heads, and what i sold at .199 and you bought at .2 and it ran to .75 - should i be mad at you for buying my shares and making much more than i did?

nope...

this is the market - and has been going on before we ever showed up...

i can only speak for me - but i do my best to alert people to what i see - heck, half the time i never even own shares in the stocks i post on scan or watchlist, but it's fun to share.. and i try to never pump or sucker people in, and certainly not at a point where i'm looking to sell...

and i wake up and go to bed w/ a clear conscience - if you feel you are "...making more moolah off others backs, it's what we do, don't blame us, we just be working the system, robbing the robbers, getting rich doing it, and becoming what we hate in the process." then by all means, please stop what you are doing - that would be know way to live your life...

happy trading...

and as far as my own mother - well, i've helped trade for her for years, and she's owned/rented nearly all of them along the way lol...

good night now!
