Look how he associated himself and you will have your answer. Rufus makes promises of tens of millions in funding through a strategy he doesn't comprehend and probably doubts but he is also no fool. Suppose.. just suppose he can come with money.. how can he let this guy try to perform without any risk. Simple.. create a separate corporation.. one not affiliated in any was to GA and allow CSHD own a minority interest in it while maintaining control. If this vehicle ever gets funded.. he wins.. if it turns out Rufus is a con and nothing materializes, then he loses nothing since GA was not directly involved with CSHD.. they just shared ownership of some stock.

That is how I would have done it and it makes perfect sense.
