I got stocks in one broker that did name changes in Oct and Nov and still havent gotten my shares. yes most are faster now than 10 years ago but still. Best to get it juicing before the name change to get people involved and excited that things are on the way.
Generally 2-4 weeks it takes for brokers to finish name changes. Some can do it in a day some in 3days or a week. but a lot of them are slow.
Im just saying... If name change came tomorrow and they decided to put news out all week and next after it wouldnt really trade right. People wouldnt be able to get shares so would be a waste.imo It would be best to do some before name change and some after. but thats just my sense of it.
