Seadrill Secures New Contract for Jack-up

Seadrill has been awarded a letter of intent by Pearl Oil Thailand and Nucoastal for the jack-up drilling rig West Janus (Seadrill 6). The contract has a duration of 210 days with commencement in the second quarter 2007. The contract value is approximately US$40 million.
