I have a dumb question and maybe even a dumber conclusion:

Ok. So they take one cell from a human embryo with 8-cells.

Then what happens to the 7-celled embryo? I mean do they survive to become healthy humans? Are any of these 7-celled-origined humans walking around? How many subjects do they need to observe before deciding there are no after-effects? Do they have to observe them until death and then do the statistics? It would seem that it would take more than a generation to prove their assumption if that were the case..

And the conclusion: Does a being that starts out at 87.5% whole end up being less than a person - or "sub-human"?
