I did not mention anything about creating a website.
I see your point about the lifespan of whatever platform animal may be used. However I still believe silkworms are the superior way to go forward even though one may not be able to make and see genetic changes as rapidly as with bacteria, the changes you can make in silkworms are being made to an animal that has already got the silk making thing down and can more easily incorporate dragline silk characteristics to the final product rather than a big teaming vat of bacteria that does not already have silk in it's DNA to begin with. Take the best existing vehicle mother nature has evolved and improve on that seems like the way to go.
