Seeing Is Not Always Believing...

During the 2016 Presidential election, a term popped up that is still resonating to this day. That term, none other than “fake news.” You see, the internet has given everyone an opportunity to express their opinions and views. Whether it’s through social media like Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube… your voice can be heard across the globe for the cost of nothing. With that said, bloggers have begun to make their presence felt as well.

Some even have the power to start movements, affect policy, and bring issues to the national attention. However, many of these bloggers are not posting news or creating content for the betterment of society… they are simply doing it to fatten their pockets… and are willing to cut corners… just so they can get some extra clicks.

Did you know that nearly 8 out of every 10 images on commercial websites are stolen?

If you think about it, that’s kind of scary. Imagine posting an image and then finding out that someone stole it and is trying to profit off that...without your consent. The Miami Herald covered a story where the Adlife Marketing & Communications was sued by New You Media for $8K for using an image of black bean soup on its website.

And it doesn’t stop there… Zillow recently lost an $8.3M federal copyright lawsuit by allegedly ripping off photos from VHT Inc.

However, most copyright owners are being robbed of tons of potential income. I mean, not everyone is willing to fork over the cash to fight it with lawyers and try to interpret the complicated copyright laws.

If you think this is small fries… you are sadly mistaken. The digital photography market was valued at $77.66B, in 2015.

But there is a better way for copyright owners to fight back...

Image Protect, Inc. (OTCPINK:IMTL)

In addition, they have license fee recovery experts along with a growing community dedicated to trying to put an end to copyright infringement.

IMTL has a subscription based model for individual photographers. With that said, the company has an end-to-end tracking and recovery model for individual photographers and large media agencies. They also have subscription-tracking only model for photo agencies and brands. Not to mention, a copyright registration model.

IMTL has, more or less, simplified the process of copyright registration and continues to show progress.

Now, on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, the stock price closed in a “bearish pattern” (according to the Ichimoku Cloud Chart), using the one-day candlestick as the time frame. If you look at the chart above, you’ll see that it broke below the “cloud” in February and has been trending lower ever since.

With that said, the stock has been off to a slow start in 2017. Based on Wednesday’s close, the stock price was down 50% year to date, and 83.33% off it’s 52-week highs. At this point in time, we would classify a long here as a contrarian or mean reversion trade. The stock price has traded in a range between $0.0155 and $0.042 over the last 52-weeks.

According to OTC Markets, the average daily trading volume has been 199K, over the last 30 trading days. As of March 8, 2017, the company had a market cap of approximately $2.4M. The stock price closed at $0.04 on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.

Here's the most important piece of information you need to pay attention to. The stock is currently trading at .0446 and that is absolutely dirt cheap.

Why? Because the upside this stock provides is a whopping 438% when compared to it's recent 52-week high.

If that doesn't make you drool I don't know what will. Add to that upside the fact that this stock has a very modest float and has low trading volume you can easily see why this stock could go nuts on Friday.

Image Protect Inc. Launches On-Line Copyright Regristration Software
SAN CLEMENTE, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 8, 2017) - Image Protect Inc. ( OTC : IMTL )

The Company announced it has launched a streamlined Copyright registration service via their www.imageprotect.com website. This new registration process targets the individual photographer looking to protect their copyright. Historically, photographers have had to use the archaically outdated United States Copyright Office (USCO) website or hire attorneys to navigate the legal process on their behalf.

The benefits to this service are immeasurable. Most artists have little time and/or patience for the standard obsolete copyright process. ImageProtect's newly automated workflow provides the artist the ability to upload and register their work(s) with little effort. The average time for an artist to complete the registration process is less than 10 minutes.

Having images registered for copyright better protects the artist from rampant piracy and also offers the copyright owner the ability to seek statutory damages and attorney's fees via the federal court system. ImageProtect's COO, Jonathan Thomas stated, "This is a major milestone in the course of our technological development. We worked diligently to make this software service simple to use and available to all photographers." He further stated, "In this world of rapidly growing online piracy, where millions of dollars are being lost every day, this tool is the first step in registering, protecting, and positioning the power back into the control of the artist."

Image Protect Announces Major Increase in Levels of Copyright/Infringement Traffic

SAN CLEMENTE, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 3, 2017) - Image Protect Inc. ( OTC : IMTL )

The company is reporting, the total number of uploaded images to its copyright/Infringement software have exceeded five million. To follow that number, the company is reporting, the number of actual "sightings" for Infringements have exceeded 1.7 million. This now tracks to the company's revenue model, and the company is beginning to build data for its early stage "Earnings Guidance" for 2017.

Since inception, the company has been able to track its revenue directly to Images tracked, Infringements sighted, recovery revenue for its clients and ultimately to the company's top line revenue. The company has historically used a percentage of these key numbers that have proven accuracy for coming quarters. The life cycle of upload, identify, review, pursue infringement settlement, has become algorithmic to building its projections of revenue.

The company feels confident the 2017 revenue should fall between $3,500,000 and $5,000,000 in top line revenue based on current key markers now in the copyright recovery software system. The projection comes based off its three-year history of performance and analysis of the certain key markers. Company Chief Operating Officer, Jonathan Thomas, stated, "From our earliest beta testing stage, right through to the software upgrades we've experienced the percentages have always proved out with certain key markers." He further stated, "so, I'm comfortable with the soft early 2017 guidance given at this point, and expect a firmer guidance given after we complete the second."

Strange Times We Live In

It was just a couple days ago that Wikileaks exposed the CIA for that spying practices. Of course, it’s events like that which make people think about privacy and protection. It could also spark a movement… where artists start fighting back and saying it’s not okay to steal my work. IMTL makes it a safer place for artists to fight back, and one would think there should be a market for those kind of services.
