I am going to bet that no one has searched the USPTO patent database to see if there is any patents involving cannabis (THC and/or CBD) to mitigate the effects of psoriasis.

Most of the available medications are steroid based with very serious side effects, and not very effective either.

There many drugs now used to treat psoriasis.

Humira, Amjevita, Enbrel, Remicade, Taltz... there are many more.

In a cursory search I found a patent application: TOPICAL TREATMENTS INCORPORATING CANNABIS SP. DERIVED BOTANICAL DRUG PRODUCT
United States Patent Application 20150086494 Kind Code: A1

"1. A method of treating a dermatological disease, which comprises applying the topical formulation according to claim 1 to skin affected with a dermatological disease.

12. A method according to claim 11, wherein said dermatological disease is psoriasis."

Lots of players already in the game.
