It makes a convincing point: The company's expenses will be very high going forward, and they ballooned last year as well. They are about to go a long time with zero revenue and have to get cash -- lots of cash -- from somewhere....and all of this on a drug that will have a small market share.

...However, we knew all this, and the article posits that the 4th Q report reminded the market just how dismal things look -- though all of it was known.

Needham's analyst retained his prior rating and commented that the company's announced their initial marketing focus for Olinvo to just the highest-risk patient set...but, again, we knew all this.

Every day is a chance to learn things, and I remain with the view that Trevena just has many unhappy shareholders, and share weakness, particularly when it comes in a torrent of selling, can make these shareholders feel like can't afford to wait anymore for a better price....but we'll get another lesson today from Mr. Market.
