I also went to AeroDef today. I enjoyed quizzing the Concept Laser rep as to why their system was better than their next door neighbor ... Sigma Labs. I got the impression that the rep was just repeating verbage from an article she shared with me ... Aug 16 addition of Additive Manufacturing Magazine starting at page 52. I like the quote on page 55 ...

Concept Laser has demonstrated to its own satifaction the reliability ...

She wanted to make a deal out of Sigma's sensors being mounted inside the build chamber. I see there is a distinction with CL's solution, but I was left to wonder why they saw that as an advantage (Edit: I see in the article that it is discussed.)

I didn't like the answer Ron Fisher gave me when I asked him the same question (why PR3D was better than CL). He told me I should ask CL. I told him that was an answer he should know. Perhaps he was just being coy.

I went to the AeroDef Convention today. I visited Sigma's booth, and the EOS booth. Very impressive to say the least.
