Well you can continue to to go on about the 5 minutes that is "purported" to be on the EDIG player (if and when it ever comes out we will know for sure) versus the 30 seconds on this portable unit.

What seems to be lost on you is the fact that Archos could dial that 30 seconds to anything they wanted, provided they had enough storage. They could buffer 30 minutes if they wanted to, but that is not partical on this type of portable device. Apparently, they feel consumers will find 30 seconds useful, even though it takes you longer to decide. By the way, I tend to think the whole recording off the radio is pretty much worthless myself and would not pay a dime for that feature.

What is also lost on you is that the competition has this EDIG "patent pending" tech already on the market. If EDIG had the "patent pending" as suggested, we wouldn't even be discussing if the competitions 30 seconds if enough, we would be discussing how much EDIG is charging everyone for using this feature, right?

But as it turns out, the whole patented write-back PUMP was just that, a PUMP.
