I hope they sell the Cork business to someone else a.s.a.p. IMO,it's a cool idea but no winery or bottler is ever going to use them in any significant volume. Consider that a normal cork cost them appx. $0.02 and compare that to the much higher cost to them for this cork. The vast bulk of wine sold is less than $20/bottle with very tight margins. Does anyone really think anyone is going to further jeopardize those meager margins by using a much more expensive cork? I doubt it very much. Plus, figure in the huge cost to change production lines to accommodate this new cork and you can see why it's highly unlikely that this product, while pretty innovative and cool, will ever be successful. I say get rid of it before it becomes a drag on the company and put those allocated marketing & sales funds into the effort to expand EasyGrinder into the very 420 friendly European market!
