Check with a lawyer, but just the fact that you are using marijuana - medically prescribed or otherwise, doesn't mean the company can't let you go or fire you. The states need to work on those laws.

Take an airplane pilot. They are rightfully routinely taken out of the plane should they smell of alcohol. It should be the same in my opinion if anyone is taking marijuana (medical or otherwise). Too many lives could be at risk.
