the beta is for them to find bugs and issues with the technology, it's likely that during this period things will get broken more than they're fixed (i've been involved with software and hardware betas for 10 years, it's just the way it goes when fixing code) and the experience you're LIKELY to have early on in beta will not likely reflect what will happen once they iron out any remaining issues.
don't bug the poor guy, he has plenty on his plate right now.. they all do, they're launching v1 within weeks.. i just hope they've allowed long enough for the beta period, most companies don't.
