In addition, the Council discussed the ongoing annual reevaluation of its designation of a non bank financial company, including the review of materials submitted by the company and engagement with the company.

Due to the my best understandings, Fannie and Friedy are Non bank financial companies which tightly engaged to Treasury too.

I believe that they are a lot of activity behind the scene which is strongly related to GSE so we should be patient and "Fruits will be picked up soon".
