I asked Scottrade about this yesterday. What I was told is that the parentheses on the ticker symbol (SSPT) means that the stock has been placed on a "do not sell or trade list" by Finra. The fact that there was some minor volume yesterday meant that there are some MM's ignoring this and were trading it anyway, but Scottrade will not participate in buying or selling until it has been removed from that list.
