Thanks Allie for the post. As I said the MM can knock out YOUR bid or jump over it. They do it all the time. They trade or swap among themselves to create Volume. That was WHY I posted that many times they will change the bid and Ask at will. They will SELL from their OWN inventory all the time. They create the Market and can control every aspect of it. That's WHY they are called Market Makers. If anyone believes ALL they are there for is to sell and buy shares for people they need a reality check. ARCA is used for that. Remember all that THEY MAKE the market and they are NOT required to sell or buy for any retail investor. They can SELL or BUY for/from anyone they choose period. Every MM works for a brokerage and they MAKE BANK for their companies. Sure they also act as a middleman for us retail investors/traders but they make money on their spreads and by Volume!!
