"On May 20, 2016 the company settled all of Lifescan’s patent infringement claims as well as the company’s Anti-trust and false advertising counter-claims against Lifescan, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson. Neither side in these litigations was a winner, but the company did receive settlement monies and other compensation. The amount of the settlement monies received by the company was confidential, but the entire settlement was structured as a license agreement whereby Lifescan, Inc. granted licenses to the company for its test strip patents in return for accommodations regarding the anti-trust and false advertising claims made by the company. The licenses to the Lifescan Inc. patents were of great value in the overall settlement."
I wonder, how has those License rights been monetized?
Can anyone tell me?
Or maybe, can someone tell me the Company's plan for monetizing these at some point?
I've never read a well thought out strategic Business plan outlining the eventual compensation shareholders will receive for the JNJ harm.
Anyone?
Please be coherent in any reply.
