Thank YOU for your research, which turned up a few things that got my attention.

"There is another company linked to Besado, an Emperial Americas Inc. "doing business as" International Spirit & Beverage Group. Funny legal maneuver?"
"We were able to piece together that Emperial Americas Inc. indeed imported one tequila shipment from Jalisco to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, in late 2011. 'The Total CIF Value USD' was $4,125. Doesn't appear to be a large amount of Tequila."

Obviously more tequila than that had to come from somewhere judging by its current multiple retail outlet availability.
The Emperial Americas brand of tequila, Distinguido, was marketed for a time by a public company of that same name (symbol TEXX) with Alonzo Pierce, ISBG's chairman of the Board and controlling shareholder, acting as its CEO. Now we see "EA dba ISBG".
Is there any chance that Besado is coming from the same source that produced Distinguido? Could it even be (or be made with) the same product? Existing surplus Distinguido inventory?

"Produced in Acatlan de Juarez, Jalisco, Mexico in our own distillery. Made with 100% Blue Agave Tequilana Weber."

Couldn't find a picture with a NOM in it****. Or a COLA.
Rumor has it that the product is still being produced.

Pierce said this in 2012:
"Emperial Americas is the exclusive importer and supplier for CIA Distiladora S.A., the producer of Tequila Distinguido and the distilleries portfolio worldwide, with the exception of Mexico."

There is a http://www.tequiladistinguido.com/ website with a live registration that is registered to a Valle Importers Corp, an Illinois company that was dissolved in 2013.

As you say, there are many inconsistencies and untruths with this brand. I suspect there may be some value in tracking Pierce's footsteps backwards but I can't be sure.
Pierce may be the only connection between Distinguido and Besado and there may be no actual link between the products themselves...

****I guess Tequila.net was able to find it:
www.tequila.net/tequila-reviews/blancos/distinguido-tequila-silver.html

I was given that information....I don't know.
