Because the public have decided it's not worth that. I see a few peeps having a bit of trouble understanding why the price is or isn't what Rufus says it will be.

The problem is, it's not up to Rufus, the company, or even God what this will trade at. It's up to us. Rufus could suck the all of the gold out of a small third world country and stash it in company vaults...but if investors aren't interested, the stock goes nowhere.

Companies are not allowed to decide what their share price is, unless it's an IPO on the very first day. After that - it's up to the market.

There are companies with unbelievable book values...but the stock trades far below them. That has to do with P/E, price/sales, and the PEG ratio. These are all basically measures of sentiment.

The only thing that drives a stock is SENTIMENT.



Good stocks are obvious. Extensive DD is how you convince yourself to buy a bad one.
