HH: I found your #msg-1283772to be very interesting. Apparently e.Digital has not filed an application for a patent on "Write Behind." I've noticed that the company hasn't mentioned it since the PR over a year and a half ago, yet "Write Behind" (most refer to it as Write Back) is being touted as a major technology that is going to set e.Digital apart from other competitors.

Also, when one re-reads the PR, it doesn't even say that Write Behind is e.Digital's technology. It simply says that the device would be the first one to have the technology.

If the company had applied for a patent, I would have expected them to issue a PR to announce it. They sure issue PRs for a lot less than that.
