He's on record having said he doesn't like Conservatorship but wont support release until Congress restructures the GSEs in a safe and sound manner.

So I guess he'd release after Congress restructures.

He cant actually be replaced until his contract is up unless its for cause...but since the court ruling yesterday, cause will be nearly impossible to find short of some proof of fraud.
