There is a waiting period of 20 days, it's actually in the filing. It's from when then shareholders are sent the 14C notice.
You're correct that there will be no warning about the R/S coming beyond that (and we're already past the 20 days). FINRA will just post it and there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
