ATTENTION Scottrade Margin Account holders: Placing a "Sell Limit Order" equal to your long positon above the market DOES NOT LOCK UP YOUR SHARES. In theory, it sounds correct, but it does not due to your firms ability to "lend" shares to a willing short seller, placing a short-term liability on Scottrade vs short seller. The ONLY way to prevent this, is to remove "margin" from your account and return to "cash account."

I just removed margin from my account this morning to protect my IBRC position.
