OWCP ..from my private IV group board:

I believe that OWCP is approaching psoriasis and other diseases essentially the way other nutriceutical companies gain approval to market their products. Prove it safe and they're permitted to market it without full efficacy testing. I'm uncertain of how substantial the efficacy testing is in Israel, but it's very possible they'll be able to quote findings there that are reasonably well respected.

We should know far more in just the next few month, perhaps even sooner as the company is speaking at a conference in early March. I don't know that the speech will carry that much weight, but if their approach to marketing is successful, that's supposed to occur mid year. Even if approval were limited to Israel, and anyone who takes their word for it, it could be huge.

We're still a long way from full acceptance of cannabis based products, but clearly we seem to be moving in that direction. I believe that a cream that clearly has some benefits, and doesn't have negative side effects, is likely to gain acceptance, even if other products are considered questionable. The question might be, can I purchase it at virtually any drug counter, or must I go to a Green Cross store. If initially the answer is Green Cross, eventually it will be anywhere if it truly has benefits that are better than products available at similar pricing.

I would suspect that ultimately the psoriasis cream might be available in various strengths. One might very well be like Hydrocortosone which can be purchased over the counter, while stronger formulations must be prescribed. Will it be from Green Cross stores, or everywhere, time will tell.
