Thank you for your grounding thoughts! Great analogy - I was raised by a mother who loved the game of craps, and being from CO we went to Vegas many times. As an adult, my clients take me there often ... good think I don't gamble much or I could be in FnF.

Sorry Obi - read and your own risk... it is a little long, my apologies... wink

I like your view and your opinion on when a person should consider such a risk - My portfolio/situation is probably unique, I am not positioned to loose... but for some reason I have stayed since 2013... I have always worked hard to pay (100%) my own way and am a single mom of four amazing children, HS and college age (their dad, my ex, is a good dad and actively involved, paying most of his half). On days like today when the Dow hits new highs... I wonder if I should have considered a different cause. I've always known the risk - and if I forget the seriousness my father reminds me (amazing man/good investor). Having said that, I do believe in this "cause" - the companies, the men & women who have worked at FnF, I believe in common shareholder rights, and the future of the 30 year mortgage in America. I understand the gov's "investment"/loan, and think we are over due for release, re-cap and up-list. On days when we drop and the naysayers speak their logic, I pause (I don't sell), I wonder, am I foolish to be here.... I know good doesn't always win over evil - but this seems so blatant.

Okay, here is my question - looking strictly at the law (as it is currently written), unencumbered by politics, self-serving interests and corruption... In your honest, obviously well educated opinion, are we right? Is there a real chance for justice in this circumstance? FnF have paid back what we owed to tax payers with profit, we appear to have the ability to re-capitalize and stand on our own (privatized or government back as FDR intended), right?
Humbly & appreciative - thank you!
