Will Intel continue to throw billions out of the window, not winning any return on investment whatsoever on it (Altera, mobile etc) and at the same time ignore threats in its home market (AMD, server business)?

I am really waiting on one thing for the answer to your question - can Intel in some way leverage 3DXP compatibility to get an overwhelming advantage for its CPUs/SoCs?

If yes, we are home free. If not, the pain will continue.
