Kid For the NTRP trial that is more likely to be true especially for the severe cases. However for the mild to moderate cases the placebo effect can be seen by the caregivers over stating what they believe is improvement. That is why I think the avxl study is flawed, they use mild cases with no placebo, (some of the mild may not even have AD). Also with the avxl study they compare the group to an AD placebo control group and claim that their patients showed improvement. A lot of room for error there with less than 30 patients.
