I heard somewhere that FINRA chooses the symbol and that cos cannot request. Then recently I heard a co say they requested a specific symbol for their name.


But its funny how they chose the names. You can find about 25 or 50 really funny ones. And you know they dont exactly choose symbol for name matches.


IE


WARM
Cool Technologies, Inc.


Name is Cool but symbol is WARM.lmao so FINRA has a sense of humor or the co got to request it
