Canada has only a little over 1/10th the population of the US, but the country is gearing up for full legalization in 2017.

With Canada breaking the taboo and going full out, it should hopefully help bring conservative views in line with marijuana legalization.

Let's hope that all of us that are invested in MJ stocks and like minded companies see a benefit to Canada's bold move.

In 2017, Canada will become the first G7 nation to fully legalize marijuana use. The stock prices of cannabis companies reveal investors are anticipating millions of users and a multi-billion market.

In terms of how it's regulated, will Canada get it right? Earlier this month, a federal task force made 80 recommendations to the government, among them, setting the age limit to 18.
