What you say is a very personal view or, as you say, "prediction". As you well know, the real trigger for the big troubles of SunnComm was the discovery of rootkits included by a competitor company in their software. In this context I see little sense in talk of "history repeating itself".

Your "prediction" includes the words, all in capitals, "THERE WILL BE NO SALES". Just as, whatever the real topic of the day, Steh likes to sternly admonish us that "there will be no merger".

We will remember those dire warnings, and you and Steh had better be right. Otherwise you will be reminded that self-appointed prophets and predictors do not always get it right!
