Alzheimer's
I became really interested in the current scientific research after 60 Minutes ran a story late last fall about a family who was predisposed to early onset alzheimer's. Up until then I didn't realize how little progress had been made in the last 20 years. I've noticed a couple more failures from big Pharma since then. Seems the big money companies are struggling with their current hypothesis of removing the plaques. I was wondering if any of you guys had an opinion on the less well established companies who are developing different approaches, or any opinions on this disease in general? I do have a small investment in one of the newer companies but am honestly more interested in some relief for sufferers of this disease. Thanks for any takes. I saw this article this evening.
