This feeling that we are about to reach a deal has been with you for quite a while now. I still contend that getting through all the civil and criminal aspects of this matter will continue for some years before we long term, never surrender, investors can close the books, cash the last check, and move on. Again, I point out how long the Madoff case has been going on and while it was more newsworthy it was also much less complicated. Recovering losses from this den of thieves will be more difficult than seizing one crooks assets.
My fear is that our champions will decide it's not worth the time and expense to recover every single penny that we deserve and we never get what would be a truly fair resolution. I'm still waiting on the last check on an insurance claim I made in 1980 something. They send me checks for less than I'm entitled to in hopes I'll cash it and go away . Same thing here.
